Why riso – why now?

Risograph printing sits somewhere between digital and analogue. Your artwork may begin on screen, but once the printer starts running, ink, paper, machine and chance take over.

The more digital our lives become, the stronger the desire can be to make something with our hands – to feel the paper, watch the colours meet and end up with a physical object.

In the Risograph – a Japanese duplicator – colours are added one layer at a time. The machine’s possibilities and built-in limitations leave room for play and experimentation. The result will not always look exactly as it did on screen. And that is precisely the point.

INTRODUCTORY SESSION 3 hours
Get an introduction to risograph printing. Get a hold on the basics when preparing your artwork and choosing paper and colour.
Price: DKK 650,-

RISO PRINT YOUR OWN POSTER 4 hours
We go through the basics when RISO printing. We make your artwork ready and print it on the RISOprinter. You will get to take 5 posters home that you’ve printed yourself, (1 two-colour design in 5 copies).
You must have the design ready before the workshop.
